Exclusively Designed Accessories to Adorn Your Body and Home
I create handcrafted, heirloom quality, sculptural statement pieces for passionate, confident people who treasure original, collectable accessories for their body and home accentuating their own personal style.
Using a variety of precious metals, gems, diamonds and collected stones, my aesthetic emerges through line, form, repeated elements, texture and color, implementing a meditative, rhythmic approach using the hand-hammering processes of forging, chasing, sinking, raising, repouse’, shell-forming, the lost wax casting process or hand-building resulting in structured fluidity. By applying the flame of the torch, chemical solutions and/or pigments on my copper pieces, I intensify the depth of color, while texture, color and various polishing techniques interplay with reflection on my jewelry pieces to achieve the desired outcome.

I have been a jeweler, designer, metalsmith for 26 years. In 2009, my family and I made a big move from our beloved downtown Victorian home to a modern-mountain homestead in Roanoke County where I renovated a two-stall barn into my metals studio. After a ‘homesteading reality, soccer Mom' sabbatical, creating a few commission pieces along the way, I re-inaugurated Sarah EK Muse at Studio 12 in November, 2015. Since then, I have been producing new works for individual and corporate clients, galleries and designers. My work has been featured in various publications and exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the eastern United States. I am the founding member of the Southwestern Virginia Metal Arts Guild and on the board of, and a juried artisan member of the Artisans Center of Virginia. I host seasonal workshops (fundraisers), teach metalsmithing classes upon request, and love having folks visit me in my studio.
I would love to hear from you.
I host several workshops per year. None at this time.
